She smiles at them and reaches over to pat the wolfhound at her side, and she tucks her knees up as Hermione speaks. ]
I never met Solais. I had...watched her, of course, over your network.
[ She was always watching when she could but would never risk exposing Hermione's network or her people by saying anything. Solais, from a distance, seemed to radiate warmth. And yet, when she spoke, she seemed so cold. Morla, for all of her darkness, seemed warmer than her...or perhaps Nasrin has a bias. The dark queen had stood amidst slaughter and flames and held together an entire court and castle for so long even as she began to wither and fade. ]
You always seemed capable of being one, if it helps. [ Hermione is so young, though. It hurts her heart. ] It's odd to be here now, where we are, and to have so little influence on the world. I'd say I don't mind it, but--
[ She liked her duties. Harbinger had been her title for some time and she had embraced it for what it was. ]
But it makes it harder to help the people here. They don't know us like they once did, for better or worse.

It's easier to focus on her sister, to lean close to her and listen, humming in agreement. ]
I never met Morla, but I imagine they were similar in a lot of ways. Stubborn, maybe, and determined, sure of themselves. They both knew what they wanted and would fight for it no matter what.
[ Hermione never minded anyone using her network for whatever they wanted - she had control over it and could see when it was being used, thankfully. The only time she had to ever worry was when something was stolen, and eventually charms were put into place to stop that, too. Hermione saw the best side of Solais, the loving, tender side, true, but she also saw the worst, the vicious hand of justice and the cruelty that would come with it.
Cheeks a little red, she sighs. ] That was because I had very good people around me. My second was incredible, and I had Lancelot and Dorian to help me with a lot of things. If I was by myself I'm sure I would've gone mental at some point.
[ Reaching out, Hermione takes Nasrin's hand in her own. ]
Then we'll make sure that they can trust us. There's no war here, nothing keeping us apart. We'll show them that we're here to help, that there's nothing wrong with Shardholders. Right?
