She chuckled lightly. "You're being modest. I've seen your art, you know. It's fantastic. Besides, if it's one thing I've learned work in the business, it's making connections counts." Carver would say the same, grumping along the way. But he knew the importance of finding people that pushed the boundaries of your art while respecting your integrity as an artist. That's why Bethany went into business with Carver, after all; who knew her best, respected her more, than her twin brother?

Besides, he and Fenris had similar, distinctive eyes for the colors and cut she had for her clothes. He pointed out things the last time they'd spoken that she hadn't thought were so different.

With a nod, Bethany smiled. "I'd been working on it for a few weeks. I was hoping to have one of the models I work with try it but she's been out all week with a cold, poor thing. I figured I'd take the time to make sure it looked right." It was a little different. It wasn't the black and white so commonly seen on the runway these days. Bethany liked color, and strove to use it as much as possible.

"I was working on something you had pointed out to me," she said, moving to the tablet she had on the table. A few swipes of her finger and the press of the button, and she moved to hand it to him. "You were talking about the edges of the train, right? You said it looked almost too...straight. It didn't have any flair. I tried to create a billowing effect, so no matter what motion the model's in, it'll look like the dress is flowing."
